What's Up

NOW

First Day of School!!                              Tuesday, September 7

We're almost ready to go!  If you've been accepted at City and have chosen courses, be here by 9am for our first School Meeting of the year.  You'll get your timetable at this meeting.  If you need to make changes to your timetable, you'll need to wait until later in the week to do so.

If you don't have a timetable and would like to attend we may have space for you.  After the School Meeting (~10am), we will interview interested students.  Remember to bring your credit counseling summary (available from the Guidance Dep't of your last school), proof of address and citizenship, and health card.  You will not be admitted to City without these documents.  You must have your credit counseling summary at the interview to be considered for admission. Although interviews are normally about 10-15 minutes, because of demand, you may be here a couple of hours before being interviewed.

If you'd like to enroll in Grade 11 courses primarily we more than likely have a place for you.

Availability of Grade 12 courses is very limited.  The following courses are full and have waiting lists:  AVI3M/4M (Art), CGW4U (World Issues), CHY4U (West and the World), CLN4U (Canadian Law), ENG/ETS4U (English/Literary Studies), HFA4M (Body Fuel), HZT4U (Philosophy), and SBI4U (Biology).  Space in these courses may or may not open up in the first two weeks.

Registration for Second Semester (February-June, 2011) will begin in November.
